There's a place I can go
to fight the bustle of noise
and too many people.
It's back in the woods
where only tough ones
dare to tread and roam.
There are memories of long ago
when life was simple
at my childhood home.
Away from the race
that goes from dusk to dawn.
I can find peace, tranquility
lost from city lights
No concrete,
only grass, green trees,
so many stars
that twinkle at night

I to find tranquility and peace in a woods often I will walk my dog in a woods turn him loose and let him be a dog.
Then I might just set and be "silent and still"
I can really take in the wonde of creation at those times.
Thank you for this poem.
