What if you changed your mind,
And no longer want to be mine?
What if you don’t care and want to go,
And you don’t need me anymore?
What if you were to find another,
That you no longer want to be my lover?
What if tomorrow you went away,
That with me you no longer want to stay?
What if I said that I love you, could you leave,
Could you let me go and leave me be?
What if I begged you not to go,
That it would rip out my heart and soul.
What if I told you I can’t go on without you,
What would you say, what would you do?
What if... I really don’t want to know,
Because Darling, I just can’t let you go.
