Won't be tied down, got to be a free spirit.
A dreamer just wondering how to go about my quest.
Make my own rules, only ruled by Uranus,
the planet of radical views,
which means I only follow my own shoes.
True to myself, no matter the cost,
even if I am hated, nothing will be lost.
People think I'm odd, and I know why,
belong to an air element, so I love to fly.
Love to debate, I am opinionated,
disappear in my thoughts whenever I can.
Crave freedom and justice, and the feeling of belonging,
ahead of my time perhaps an old soul,
I'm happy being a lone voice crying in the wilderness.
Agree with me or not, hate me if you will,
I will never cover my mouth and not say what I really feel.
True to myself and true to my sign,
I will stand up for the Aquarians for all of my time.

With all due respect to your philosophy......
my experience over the past seven decades is that I do better with tact and diplomacy than
Astrology.
The only "rights" we've got are those which other poeple give us. |

i think your poem is completely out of context and needs a new starting veiw point you should grow up and get a life stop following the stars and follow your heart or you'll end up loosing your way in the dark. Reveiw your life and reliase it's in the past look ahead only you controll your destiny. |

Poetry does a lot of things but it does not always have to be auto-biographal. I might believe in starsigns, but that is besides the point. The point is that this poem deals with the way a star sign is treated by the media, and stereotyped into being a certian way. It is basically saying, ''if this is who and what I am, then I am proud to be it!''. Who are you anyway? |

Even though I don't really believe in starsign things I like to read them and find them quite funny sometimes. I think you should just go along with what your heart tells you and follow your beat to a different drum or however they say that. I am a Libra. Great write.
