Once upon a time
There was time for everything
Says, my grandmother wistfully
A story a night was there
Perhaps a song or two as well
For those were lullabies
To make us wander across time
Finally to drift in slumber
Says, my grandfather radiantly.
Things had their own charm
There was green luxury then
Winds bore pristine fragrance
Flowers danced frenziedly.
Life was a soothing sway
One could stand n stare
Everything had a natural glow
Now we rush n rush
In a whirlpool of madness
Not a moment to spare
Nor a sweet soul to care
One has to be with the tide.
