Soul Conversation

Contributed by Unaekseveer1 on Tuesday, 13th August 2002 @ 10:22:51 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

What on Earth did I do?
I know it’s not all about me!
I wish only to kindle the friend inside,
If your friend you’d let me be!

I try not to make any promises,
Ones which I struggle in vain to keep!
Just this life on Earth seems much more colourful,
When you’re here with me in my sleep!

Oh my word, where is this place?
You have brought me here to see!
Life reasoning I can now understand,
My minds viewer you have again set free!

Grey your skin is certainly not!
Appearing moist but also slightly dry!
Not a colour to me recognisable,
Through my simply complex optical eye!

Will you lend me the tools to decipher?
And explain to my fellow kind folk.
Conveyance in written words they may figure,
What we’ve touched upon is only some joke!

You know that as Humans we fear the unknown!
You’ve been studying us long from this place!
Now I’m knowing you too feel emotions,
I sense the tears upon your face!

Are you happy you’ve found a receptive subject?
Or saddened by my apparent ignorance?
Can I thank you for allowing me one more pleasure,
The most wonderful of all my experience!

Do you not converse using vocals?
Is everything shared from your soul?
So very glad and so privileged to feel this,
For many a Human beings final goal!

There’s more, but how can this be?
What else can be possible to know?
Ah yes, I still feel the anxiety that fuels,
This river of existence within which we all flow!

I’ll see you next time we make contact,
I hope we can return maybe here?
Please find comfort in all that you show me,
You are helping me cope with my fear!

Dean, this is a truely wonderful poem. I really enjoyed it. I know that I have been having too many deep things to say. But I have been in sort of a daze all day.
