Tomorrow

I have to start waking up earlier.
I have been over sleeping on my dreams.
Someday has just not stood up to the
test of time.
Yesterday lies in a wasted heap behind me.
I hang on too long to hopes that are never
loyal to me.
I can love and I am loved by a few.
Yet, love cannot fill up all of the empty
days, and ahead of me there are still
so many.
I am still too young and strong to be
considered an invalid.
Yet I am old enough to be invalidated.
This is really bumming me out.
Maybe I should finish writing this tomorrow.
