once again,
im pouring my heart out through a pen,
feeling like a caged demon,
drowing in sin,
when will it end,
im tired of it,
every day i get off of work to hear the same ol' sh. . .
ill leave that word alone i know yall dont like,
when i say something that might not be right,
but its okay i dont care,
im going somewhere,
im leaving soon far from home,
im not sad,
happy to be on my own,
im tired of hearing people,
tell me im wrong,
im tired of people all together,
they dont know my songs,
im tired of my mother always yellin,
it sucks,
im tired of the bum down the street,
not getting no luck,
im tired of seeing kids pulled into the grasp of,
war,
so im ending this stuff,
there will be no more,
for me to leave,
its hard to believe,
but as we speak,
im packing up my stuff,
just wait and see,
i am ready to jet mama callin me names,
they dont stop yelling,
then they wonder why we insane,
they wonder why their children keep smoking weed,
it is a neccesity now its something we need,
be happy if it wasnt for that we would flip out,
hit the first person who opened their mouth,
i whine and yell but i dont pout,
im a soldier yall should know by now,
read my poems they will tell you how,
to be who you want,
forget everyone else,
forget the fame forget the wealth,
what is a rich man who cant smile not once,
what is a famous guy who cant spark up a blunt,
what is a person who has everything,
but someone who loves him just for being,
me,
no one in my house understands me i swear,
it pisses me off,
i cant talk,
but now im leaving to a place where i might be,
understood,
might be in a place where im actually doing,
a little good,
helping society selling them something worth listening to,
im not like the other poets i solve my problems,
its true,
i stand by my damn self,
i have no stilts,
nothing to lean on,
by the way that movie sucks it was just a p-on,
no one would stand by my side when i was walking the wrong way,
no one stood by me then,
they aint standing by me today,
but its okay the only problem i got is girls,
damn i love girls they are my world,
im looking for mrs. right,
who can love me the way,
that i could love her every day,
but there is a bigger problem in that,
im afraid they are going to hurt me. ..
im gonna stop there and let yall think,
i want yall to finish the poem for me,
put the title then put part 2,
then finish it off,
pass it from me to you,
then you pass it to another and we can see how far,
this poem gets before it stops somewhere,
where it stops is where i want to be.. . .
can yall take me?

Dear Nate,
Beware, my dear Nate.....for me to eriterate...
Wherever you roam, far or close to home...
These same people you're going to meet.
So give Nate a big treat! There's only one guy you can change,
That guy is you.....rearrange....be more tolerant.....ask questions....reasons why? Relate...Relate...before your heart will break!
Ask Why? Ask them Why? Bring it to their attention please....then listen carefully may be your ease....don't stay inside of youself...that will never help..be generous...and share...not just with us....but with all those who really care.....you'll find they do.....just try it.....it will surprize you!
Your poem was so heartfelt....I have so much love in my heart for you, and for all the others who hurt! Warm hugs would help...try hugging your mother.....reach out!

Nate, my heart aches for you. Such treatment is not fair and not right... but be careful in running away and taking anger with you, that you don't become like them. We only make a difference in a "world" we stay in. And we only make a "good" difference if we are strong enough to resist the hatred.
What broke the souls and hearts of those that break your soul and heart, I don't know. But it's obvious they took on the hatred and, in doing so, have forgotten how to love - and this they did in self-protection, just as you seemed to desire to.
Look within for the peace and the love. Find confidence and courage in who you are. And stand strong in your own shoes; be responsible for your own actions; find that you do not NEED their approval, or love even, no matter how good it would feel, and you will love them, and others in your world for real.
When you are at peace with you, you will find you do not need anyone's love or approval, and you will find you will love others more completely, without looking for anything in return... and then watch, see how their anger subsides, and they finally feel as though they can come out of hiding and not only give the love they really do want to give, but dare to take the love they're secretly aching for - just as you are.
You're all in the same boat, Nate, but you're the only one who is brave enough to find some sort of salvation... Be the hero of the boat. Save yourself, for sure, then, in new strength, save them, also. You'll never forgive yourself for letting them drown - in your heart, you already know that...
As Gandhi said: Be the change you want to see in the world.
If you want your world improved, lead the way in how to improve it. Show others how to truly love, by truly loving.
And keep expressing your heart, for in doing so, it finds freedom - and the rest of us dare to reach for that freedom also.
Stand strong in love, Nate... Be the hero you were obviously born to be.
