WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE
NEVER RIGHT?
WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU SEEM TO
BE THE CAUSE OF THE FIGHT??
WHAT'S WRONG WITH THEM ALWAY'S
ON MY CASE??
IT'S LIKE A SLAP IN THE FACE;
ALLWAY'S THE WRONG ONE HEAD
HUNG IN DISGRACE!!!
THINK BACK TO THE DAY WHEN YOU WERE
SMALL.THEY WERE LAUGHING AND
SMILING AS YOU CRALWED..
TEAR'S OF JOY HAVE TURNED TO PAIN,
WHY CAN'T THING'S STAY THE SAME!!
BUT NOW YOUR GROWN "YOU THINK"
BUT GROWING UP I TELL YOU IT STINK'S
YOU STILL HAVE RULE'S AND STILL HAVE
ACHOOL.. BUT NOW THEY ARE RUN BY FOOL'S..
SO LOOK AT YOURSELF AND SAY "WOULD
I WANT MY DAUGHTER TO ACT THIS WAY?"
WHERE WILL YOU BE IN 10 YEAR'S ??
I DON'T KNOW AND FOR THAT REASON;
AS YOUR UNCLE I SHED THESE TEAR'S.....

Amy, I think your husband is a good poet, that's what I think.
I see much feeling, fellow feeling, empathy, reasoning, futility, hope, and hopelessness. All on the same page....Yes, he loves her much, and he can see where she is headed...Even asks her to try to empathize with her own daughter if she had one....Yes, Amy, that was a very good poem.
I hope the young lady listened, her uncle really loves her!
