Know the truth

Om salutations unto Lord Naaraayana
Who exists in the form of universe
With myriad heads and myriad eyes
He is the effulgent divine person and
Producer of happiness to all beings
He is omni present and omni formed
He is the savior and destroyer of sins
He is the protector and the supreme goal
Om salutations unto Lord Naaraayana
The supremely auspicious undecaying soul
He is the supreme reality of universe
Supreme light of bliss consciousness
He is the infinite self, known as Brahman
He is the most excellent meditator and
The meditation and the witness of all actions
What so ever there is in the world known
through perception or known through report
all that is pervaded by lord Naaraayana
within and without and he is the imperishable none
One should meditate upon the supreme limitless
Dwells in the sea of ones own heart as great light
The place for meditation is the ether in the heart
The heart is comparable to an inverted lotus bud
Where there is a narrow space called su-shumna
The abode of un-decaying omni faced great fire
With flames on all sides, enjoying the food presented
The rays of which spread scattering themselves all over
which warms its own body from the inside to crown
In the centre of that fire which permeates the whole body
Abides an up-leaping tongue of fire in color of shining gold
which is dazzling like the flash of lightening that appears
in the middle of a rain bearing cloud which is as slender as
the awn of a paddy grain and it is the subtlest flame
The supreme soul dwells in the middle of that flame
He is the creator and the lord of universe all knowing
He is Siva, Vishnu, Indra, and Aditya un-decaying
He is the material and efficient cause of the universe
And the supreme self-luminous pure consciousness
He, the absolute reality manifests as androgynous person
In the form of Uma-Maheshwar who hast uncommon eyes
Salutations to Him who alone is the supreme soul of universe
May the Lord of universe protect us both together!
May He nourish us both together!
May we both work together with great energy!
May we not hate each other!
May peace-physical, mental and spiritual be on us forever!
* Om tatsat Om *

WOW, that was a lot of things i dont really understand, in the forms of deitys comes many things of the human mind. Overall that was a fantastic poem with a really nice idea at the close.
Somewhere in the middle you carry the flow of it very well, like a song in perfect rythem feeding into a new chorus.

This poem reminded me of one of those powerful sermons spoken at a high mass declaring the power of the everlasting God. Venkat this is truly stunning, your use of imagery is baffling and it is truly exquisite. This poem is very powerful, although not completely understood by all who read it, the true essence of it can be felt deep within the soul, the place where He touches...Great write venkat, my friend...Krystal:)

There is a spelling mistake..kindly read the following Words
"and he is the imperishable none"
as
" and he is the imperishable one"
sorry for the inconvenience caused by me.

Exquisite in all aspects Venkat.....I too feel the love you explained in your beautiful poem....to the most high over all the other Gods...the essence of love, and all power, justice , and wisdom. How wonderful to hear some one praise him, for indeed he deserves it all.
I felt my spirit being lifted Venkat as I read your words. It is true that many times a person who speaks another language can put into words better than anyone what a wonderful creator he truly is! People should be waiting in line to worship him, but because of all the other Gods many times he is overlooked and even forgotten.
I'm so glad I didn't miss your poem, Venkat...it was a marvelous poem and read. I enjoyed it very much
lovingcritters
Connie
Thanks to ladyfawn for helping me to find it.
