I look back now and reminisce.
Remorse pulls on my heavy heart.
The things I've said in the past
are what tore us apart.
Now we don't talk at all,
Because I took advantage of you.
You were so sweet and kind,
And I was so confused.
No one had ever cared for me,
The way you did back then.
The happiest time of my life,
Was when we were friends.
I wish I had taken time to think.
Took time to apologize.
But now it is just too late,
Tears already fell from your eyes.

wonderful work :) I can relate to it very well, which makes it even better in my eyes.
I believe this is a time where you can say "regrets will kill us all" indeed they will...but you cannot help but to have them.
great job once again. |

Thank you both so very much.. I'm pleased that you enjoyed this poem. You'll be glad to know, though, that after everthing, This girl and I have become friends again.. (Even after getting eachother suspended numerous time throughout highschool over terroristic threats and fist fights...) She's one of my best. Thank you so much for you compliments.
