Why I need ana..

Contributed by lostforgood on Wednesday, 20th August 2003 @ 08:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Everyday is the same routine
I hate myself, I hate eating
Everyone knows something is wrong
But they deny it and act as if nothing is going on
I am my hardest judge
I do know that,
When I look in the mirror
I critique very carefully
Check for 2 hip bones
Pushing out my flesh
Better have a sunken stomach
Or else I'll be *****
Have to count the ribs
There better be more than one set
And the rest of me
Well..I think there's been enough said
I try my hardest to keep in control
But sometimes my body takes over it all
I go to the kitchen and binge on a roll
Or sometimes worse,
I'll eat till I'm full
When I can't escape eating
Around other people
I politely excuse myself
And head to the restroom
I bend over the toilet
And there I purge till I drop
It's loud and disgusting
And I'm afraid I'll get caught
But it's worth it all if I drop all my weight
Sometimes I wonder if this is really worth it
But just when I think that
A fat lady walks by in her size 20 jeans
And I know just why I do this
I don't want to become like that unsightly scene.
