The Path

Topic: Lifepoems

On these nights,
I see you changing-
you're so far away
from the person I knew.

I can sense danger,
it seems as if
you're changing completely,
changing paths.

A rocky path, it would be,
with thorns and jagged edges,
a path into a world
where you do not belong.

You're too smart
to act this way,
and your rage inside
confuses me greatly.

I send out wishes,
asking for things to change,
asking for you to accept us,
asking for you to choose the right path.
