Sweet girl
Please don’t cry
We’re going through hard times
Yet I know we’ll get by
Soon I’ll see you up in the sky
Soon you’ll grow wings and be able to fly
Believe me when I tell you this
One day you will find bliss
I can feel it in my soul, in my heart
I knew you were beautiful right from the start
Don’t let go, keep up that fight
And you’ll reach the end of the tunnel, you’ll reach that light
Open your curtains, look out at life
One day you won’t need that knife
I love you honey, know I’m always here
Now wipe away your every tear
Come and hold my hand
Dig your toes deep into the sand
Look out at the sea and the sky and the sun
And scream out loud: we’ve won
