is that all there is,
to become free to prison,
the mind,
am i a nihilist and nothing more,
looking into the reality of the mind,
why don’t i care when they kill each other,
its just time and the putting of their objects on the shelf,
to deal with simple reality,
hunger and attraction,
all in the base survival,
all the things that come from center,
the zero of the mind,
born pure and blind,
with grown mechanisms,
the ignorance plays such a redundant chorus,
could care less,
or such things as why bother,
just another illusion that leads them to their slaughter,
the prison mental freedom is,
take my word and live in lies,
it makes the world much better,
thus another bad metaphor is born,
to opiate the mass,
its a mass of confusion,
all reality is the mind,
if i could control television i could make you all mine,

| Excellent poem! I know exactly what you mean: words are useless; how are they supposed to show how we feel? I think people could take a lot from this poem by looking at it from different angles. Love the last part about television. KEEP WRITING ;-) |
