my babys a man

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

my babys a man
with whiskers on his chin
he's going on six feet tall
he has a beautiful grin,

this month we shared
now comes to an end
he goes back to acadamy
but him i dont want to send,

i loved every minute
this month flew away
but we will have time
another happy laughing day,

micks going to be a pilot
he said,'mom someday ill take you anywhere'
okay son, just always know the door is open
and about how much i love you and care

once more away from me
first i have to watch him fly
tomorrow morning he gets on a plane
and takes my heart with him into that sky

these tears in my eyes..
i wish i could stop time..
i love him so dearly..
thus this lill rhyme..

He may be a man but always your "baby",
allowing him to soar is what makes you such a beautiful lady. Though he may not be in your arms to comfort and to hold,he'll be with you everyday,as the day will unfold!
With all my love and wishes too,the best to mick...and big hugs for you!!! 0:-)
Angel always....joni

Awww Nessa,

This is beautiful, just like your heart, Mick is turning out to be a fine young man, but even when he's old and grey he'll still be your baby...

Never say goodbye, always see you later, dont cry because he's 'gone' but smile because he will one day return

G'day Nessa!
Wow that must have been a wonderful month
Mick would have had such a time just being near his beautiful mom.
So glad for you my friend and so well expressed in this write of yours.
Love reading and sharing your thoughts and words again.

Oh Dear Nessa,
I had tears of happiness in my eyes
for you. I too loved what he said to you
"mom someday I'll take you anywhere".
You must be so proud.
Love,
POOBEAR

This one really got to me Nessa. It's very poignant. I am forever telling my sons (much to their distress) "No matter how big you get, no matter how old you are... you will ALWAYS be my baby". *sniff*
It's a beautiful and touching write.
