Old man, won't you guide me,tell me of a way
Speak to me with wisdom's voice, inside my being, play
Grant me just a moment,to taste the happy tears
Of all that you have witnessed, throughout your seaside years
Talk to me of wonders, that for most are dreams and tales
Hold me in your spirit, show me how I've failed
You sit so very long,by the sea and with your eyes
You cast your earthly presence,to the sand and to the skies
I have felt you many times,as I walked beneath these cliffs
But never have I needed you, well, never more than this
I've nowhere else to turn,no solid ground on which to stand
I beg of you old man, please take me by the hand
Pull me deep into your world, lend to me your breeze
I want to be where the eagle soars,I just want to be free

Lovingwhispers.....that was so touching....and the heritage of the Indian is so great.....they hold their oldster in high esteem, realizing they have lived so many years of late!
Lovingwhispers...you too should have been an Indian, my dear sister. Now I know why you named yourself "LovingWhispers" Your whispers are as tender as the new blade of grass.....you bring dignity to the Indian....at last!
