How do I say how good it was to see you,
tell you what seeing you did?

How do I tell you all the things I want,
and all the pleasant things I can give?

How do I get to be in your presence,
and get to visit where you live?

How do I display my desire within,
and how strong this desire is?

So, very, precious is the sight of you
I now want to know all that I can

I want to learn all the things you enjoy
I want you to make me understand

I want to know how good my hand will feel
when it is holding your hand.

I genuinely want to pull you close to me
I want to feel the way you dance

It could be incredible to be with you
Will I get my opportunity to know?

Will I find the opportunity to plant a seed?
Will I see the time to help it grow?

Will you be as enlivened and roused as I
Will you admire the ways I flow?

Will you appreciate the way that I do...
Or, God forbid... will you tell me no?
