~*o si yo*~

Topic: oops

~Great Spirit~...
upon the earth let fall the rains to cleanse my soul
hear me ~Great Spirit~...
in the movement of my flesh
*dancing in praise to your song*
guide my senses,be my path
following,I will step gently among your creations
know my spirit is of wonder and
your light fills me
~Great Spirit~...
you touch me through the wildflowers and
moonlit breezes
you are the tender call of daybreak
awakening me from journeys I take
beside you in the comfort of your wisdom
~Great Spirit~...
my dreams are many,my will is strong
pride is abundant, for I am your daughter
~Great Spirit~
this I will always sing...
I will share my heart openly, welcoming all
I will nurture my soul with this earth you gave
I will dance and give thanks for my blessings
I will walk carefully across this land, with whispering moccasins
and replenish its beauty, with my offerings of touch
I will pause in thought
never speaking my tongue without care
~Great Spirit~...
hear me when I say ~*o si yo*~
~father of this earth~...
hear my hello...

I hear you like a poet hears a poetess
like the great spirit would hear a goddess.
I was also able to trace the visual effects of this poem
to the variations in the formation of the morning dew.

Dear LovingWhispers,
I think the Great Spirit has been very busy here lately. I just finished a poem this afternoon and it too was a prayer to the Great One. I just love Indian prayers.....they are so open and so loving, so lifting and so kind!
That's what I thought when I read this poem. That must be how you are too, Lovingwhispers, for the Great Spirit says what you have in your heart....will come out of your mouth...my sister o si yo.
Beautifully written. Really enjoyed
lovingcritters.
