A thousand eyes observed Him die,
And as they carried Him to His grave.
He could have lived an Emperors’ life,
But chose the tomb as if a slave.
A thousand eyes beheld Him when
He lived again as said.
For prophets had foretold just how
A savior would rise when dead.
A conviction is sure in a court room,
When a witness will say “I swear!”
Five hundred recorded what they saw.
Can their voices be any more clear?
He said there is no greater love,
Than to lay down a life for a friend.
And that He did it willingly,
Changed the course of how this all ends.
There is no sissy or shameful way
To accept His salvation plan.
No more courageous thing ever was done.
My Savior’s a manly man!
