Nothing's what it seems, no one ever knows.
Everyone wears a mask, that's just how it goes.
All the world's a stage, the Devil can play a Saint.
See if you can guess what goes on behind the paint.
We're all guests at the costume ball of life.
Who are the actors when they go home at night?
People weave a dance of lies, false identities preside.
Ensure that no one guesses who you are inside.
The best costume wins the giant masquarade.
Do everything possible to keep up the charade.
Everyone is someone given a part to play.
Choose a real winner, your true self don't betray.
Behind that Angel face, there might lie a snake.
In the grand fiasco everyone must partake.
Do your best to play your part, conceal your identity.
In this mass illusion the false is reality.
Wear a costume, paint your face, change your name as well.
Memorize your lines, for the truth will never tell.
No one knows what's real, in the act engage.
In the play of life, the truth is kept backstage.

very cool, i love
"in the play of life the truth is kept backstage" actually i liked alot of it. i wrote one similar, but more about the lies and masks woman wear. keep it REAL.
