Stillness,
surrounds the night like a shroud.
The air is silent,
as the stars dance on their stage in the sky,
showing off their majestic beauty.
I stare in awe,
as a flash of light tears through the nocturnal blackness,
creating a momentary ripple of day.
Like a window opened to a new world.
A place of beauty,
and...
love.
I hear a loud chirp in the distance,
even the smallest of creatures can sense this wonderful feeling.
A feeling of ectasy,
completeness,
jubilation.
It surrounds me,
like the stillness and the night.
Creating a protective hideaway,
somewhere to almost...
lose myself
I have no worries here.
I have no sorrows anymore.
All the darkness has been lifted.
When a flash of light finally tore through my heart.
A ripple of a new beginning
A window opened to a new world
a new world,
a new beginning,
with you.
