Looking Glass of Life

Here I stand,
At the looking glass of life,
For the first time,
I’m on the outside looking in,
Because I have no control,
And even God himself,
Cannot grant me,
My single wish,

To have the honor of loving you,
Is all I ask for,
But I shall never have the chance,
The chance to show you,
That I can treat you like you deserve,
The chance to stand beside you,
The chance to be apart of a life,
That will never be forgotten

For the love I showed you,
Came off as petty obsession,
The tears I shed for you,
Came off has an act,
The single wish I had,
The one hope I had left for me to reach happiness,
Is gone,
Here I stand at the looking glass of life,
Hopeless

Oh KJ what a loving poem. For someone.,..but please do no give up. Remember it's better to have loved and lost, that never to have loved at all...because what you do to another you do to yourself also. So never stop loving KJ, and write more of those loving poems Please!
