Tightness in my chest creeping up into my shoulders
Grabbing at my throat
Call the ambulance I gasp tell them to be quick
But time goes to fast tick tick.
I look to the door of my bedroom
How I wish I can run through that door and grab my children once more.
To give them a warm embrace and tell them I love them to their face.
But there is not time.
I look into his face lots of words I need to say
So much to fix and arrange every thing in disarray
Panic is all I feel but all I can do is pray.
There is no time.
Again I look to the door I will never see them again.
My breaths shorten oh the pain
I refuse to go its not my time “my children need me” is my rhythm
But there is no time.
Nothing more to do life just forbids
My last words
“I love you look after my kids”.
No more time.
