Always and Forever

Contributed by lovingangel4u on Sunday, 10th August 2003 @ 08:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: AnniversaryPoems

Again it is your Birthday
Another one I have missed
Not being able to hug you or feel your loving kiss.

I remember your radiate smile
Your cheerful loving voice
All the little ditties you sang were choice.

You always strived to put a smile on our faces
You filled the house with songs and embraces
You were the glue that held us
You were the feeling of home
Now there is a void
Our family is destroyed.

Life hasn’t been the same since you’ve been gone
There’s an emptiness that we all feel
Your grandchildren have missed you
The warm memories keep you real.

I know you are watching us
And they say we will one day met again
My darling mum I hope that’s true
To be able to hug you and feel your loving kisses again.

Always and forever... If my eyes don't sprout tears, my heart does. Your words move me.
Take care.
