|
Silent smiles and nervous eyes
across doorways and corridors
Unknowing stares and unknown desires
between two strangers, to each other.
A need for answers to a question unasked
a nervous reply of an unsure mind
A silence so loud, a thunder
and echoes, loud, louder.
Slight brushes of fingertips
discreet embraces and a reluctance to part
A desire, quivering lips
a common rhythm of two beating hearts.
