he always said he loved me
and i returned the words
forever faithful
forever blind.
now the questions i should have asked
rush through my mind.
how can you love me.
throw me against the wall
backhanded slaps
blows to the stomach
punches to the head.
always and forever
the torture left scars
inside and out
outside and in.
blood spills out
from the gashes in my stomach
that line through my throat
that one last stolen kiss
"i really did love you."
from the sound of his words
a crimson liquid floods out my mouth.
a horrible time to remember i know
but the sex was good
all we really ever had
boasting to friends
i told them it was so good
it made me want to die.
I never knew he would take it literally.

A girl puts up with do or die?
Get the hell out of the stupid house,
Get away from the stupid louse...
Sex ain't that good!
