Sweet songs of love linger in my heart.
Wishing that so long ago we didn't have to part.
Walking through our memories, so brief but blissful.
Holding you in my mind the only one to me so dear.
You are but a breath away, but I wish for you to be near.
Waiting and hoping to be returned to our embrace.
Loving and losing to the end without disgrace.
Drifting and falling back towards despair.
