I wish I had whispered to you
that night we shared our hearts.
Gentle promises of life,
soft words lovers hear.
To fill the wants you have,
one more chance to hold you close.
I wake to that faint voice,
soft notes, I`ll forget you in time.
That chance of love drifts back to me
in lonely midnight dreams.
I`ll cry a thousand times over again,
my heart should have felt you drift.
To be that man in love with you know.
Not this fool
in midnight dreams... Crow
