King of Pain

Contributed by TeenageEmoGirl on Thursday, 7th August 2003 @ 05:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

This song won't talk of slit throats and razorblades
As those techniques have become cliche
No, this song will be different
Let's think of a more interesting way
Because those lines have all been used
To talk about pain endured
Why the ***** complain,
If the pain can't be cured?
Slit wrists don't prove anything
They don't mean you're sad
Once the blade goes through your skin
The pain ain't all that bad
But no more talk of that,
All that pain never compared
To all the ***** you pulled on me
Just because I cared
I don't want to see your face
I don't want to hear what you've got to say
I wish that you would ***** die
And slowly rot away
I thought I could always love you
But boy how I was wrong
The only thing that keeps me going
Is knowing your time will one day come along
Where you'll fall in love
Fast and true
And that girl will want nothing
But to use you
And she'll break your little heart
And leave you all alone
But by then it'll be too late
My heart's already stone
I hate you not because
Of what you did back then
The only reason I hate you
Is cause I'll never love again
Because you showed me what true love is
And how bad it hurts to fall
You showed me this new world of pain
Gave me no reason to live at all
As the king of crushes
Over is your reign
Now and forever more
You'll be known as the king of pain
