*Bitter Sweet*

Contributed by -FOX- on Thursday, 7th August 2003 @ 12:35:28 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Things need to change
Or we won't last
If I wanted abuse
I would have stayed in the past
You talk s*** on fools
I've been with before
But I'm here once again
With one foot out the door
You can't disrespect me
And expect me to stay
I've been down that path
It's painful and gray
I know that it's hard
And I'm doing my best
Don't treat me bad
Just like the rest
I love you baby
More than I can show
And there are things about me
You still don't know
So when I tell you
You can't pull this s***
Don't tell me you love me
Then throw a fit
The things you tell me
They fill me with pain
Does it make you feel good?
What do you gain?
I love you babe
I don't want to fight
I want to be with you
And make things right

I think this is a very emotional poem. I had an abusive boyfriend myself and i know how hard it is to deal with it all. I think you should give it to him. It could help...and if it doesn't....well atleast you tried! keep up the good work!
