My Life, My Mirror

I sit here and I wonder to myself,
Why am I here?
I see no purpose in myself,
I'm just this incredibly tall ninth grader,
With no friends,
No girlfriend,
Living a life many don't know exists,
I find a mirror,
And I stare in it,
Staring my reflection in the eye,
"Why are you here!?" I shout at at,
But it doesn't have an answer for me,
No one does,
Not even me,
So i collapse infront of this mirror,
And I just sit there,
Feeling the drop of one single tear,
Already my fate is sealed,
I know this,
My life has been mapped out for me,
But it's up to me which road I'll take to get there,
If I do indeed make it there,
That mirror is broken now,
And I have no reflection in it.

.... I feel exactly as you say. I am just a ninth grader that looks like a senior. Not always a good thing. I can not explain in words as to what ran through my mind as I read this...
You have an amazing gift... -Amy |
