More Than Enough
I met you on a Monday,
And by Friday I was in love.
You’re like a brilliant shining star,
In the night sky up above.
You brought color to my world,
That was used to black and white.
And like a ship out on the sea,
You were my guiding light.
You taught me how to laugh,
Turned my frown into a smile.
You showed me how to live,
You made it all worth while.
Years have come and gone,
And yet I still feel the same,
My heart still skips a beat,
With just the mention of your name.
We're like two peas in a pod,
Diamonds in the rough.
We're content in being in love,
Which for us is more than enough.
