Topic: Lifepoems

I ask you to teach me how to smile,
to let go, of the pain for a little while.
help put my mind on to something new,
allow it to concentrate on me and you.
Free my spirits from the chains that bind,
and encourage my heart, an adventure to find.
Make my thoughts think upon something new,
allowing me to enjoy this moment with you.
Tell me it’s long since been the time,
to allow myself to once again, shine.

Great poem.
