You read me like a book
You’re so damn perceptive and it’s really not fair
When I don’t want to tell you what’s on my mind
And you just won’t rest
I can’t even fool you into thinking I’m alright
I’m scared to think what’ll happen when you know me
You told me all these things
That made me that much more sure I have nothing to fear
I don’t trust easily but you upped my faith in you
Five minutes was all it took
And you weren’t even trying to reassure me
Hell, I wasn’t even in need of reassurance
I know you’re someone special
And I’m lucky as can be to be your girl
You reach me down in my depths where I’m closed off
Now that I think about it
How on earth did you get in there without me knowing?
I never had a clue my guard and walls were down
It kinda feels nice
Being open and letting you in where no one goes
That wall’s been strong and unfaltering for years
I don’t know how you did it
The effect you have on me is incredible
I don’t know why I got so emotional
I just needed to hold you
Don’t know what it was, but something came over me
Didn’t notice what I was doing till you mentioned it
Do you really not get sad?
I think you could teach me a few things about feeling
Coz you already reached me without intending to
Do you know what you’ve done?
Can you comprehend what this means and what I’m feeling?
I don’t even know what I’m feeling, but it feels good
I guess that’s the point
You make me feel good and achieve the impossible
There’s something extraordinary in you and I love it!

This is cool. I know why you let your guard down.... My lil dragonfly is fallin in love!!! hehehe!
I disagree with Daniela... A poem can be in any shape, or form. It does not have a certain style, or rythme. It can look however the writer wants it to look. It can sound however the writer wants it to sound. And I'm sure you get my point now... lol... But, I just felt I needed to state my opinion. Thanx.
