We’ve lost 2 girls from Iran
and we all share the grief
and if there’s really a god
then perhaps he's a thief
Two sisters joined at the head
in a cruel twist of fate
lived in hope that one day
they would be separate
A skilled team of surgeons
worked 2 days and 2 nights
to grant the wish bestowed on them
to give these girl's divine rights
But the risks, they were great
chance of success, not too high
but these girls were so brave
they were prepared to die
And if courage meant life
they’d be still here today
but despite every effort
they have now passed away
Now we remember their smiles
and let their legacy be
that the best thing in life
is just to be free
