Twilit Reveries

DreamsandWishes

It’s after midnight, I miss noon,
The day rises, the night falls,
Silent wishes leave my parted lip,
As we gaze upon the same moon,
Softly something calmly calls;
“Embark upon this nightly ship”,
Caress my twilit reveries,
Dream a single blurry dream,
And in the morning, wake,
From vague ultraviolet seas,
From joys which seem,
Too distant to partake.

Contralogicus,
That was so beautiful. You really stole my breath away with "Embark upon this nightly ship". Amazing line. Like, the night is one big ship on which to sail. Beautiful......
Peace,

Very nice!
Had to read it a few times to really taste it.
The joys you write about will not allways
be too distant or just "a dream"
for someday dreams will be real
and whats "REAL" will be just a dream.
PEACE
.
