I wait by the phone but it never rings.
I see your face in everything.
I hear your voice in all I do . I am crippled by this wanting you.
Whether I’m out or in at home,
I’m wanting you for my very own.
My mind races with thoughts of you.
My heart skips paces as I turn Blue.
A day will come when I wait no more.
I’ll be standing on another shore.
Even if blind or sickly or ill,
Here’s a thing I must tell you still.
You can treat me like slime,
Or put a knife in my chest.
But I’ll always love you
Much more than the rest!

since this is my name, it caught my eye. i understand the feeling well and i'm sorry that you have to experience it. please know you're not alone...it's somewhat of a universal feeling! good write and i'll be sure to read more.
