Ill-Reflective Stare

Contributed by jaeann on Monday, 4th August 2003 @ 01:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Poet needs her pain
standing blindly in the rain
nakedly bound in chains
justly gone insane.

Poet need her prose
before the door shuts closed
lost from hell appears a rose
can never tell friend from foe.

Poet needs her tears
shedding all her fears
debts accrue in arrears
hide from knowing leers.

Poet needs ner muse
nothing left to lose
broken and paid her dues
destination of refuse.

Paint a portrait
on the wall.
Watch her as
she slowly falls.
Make sure that
someone gets that call.
She was just
a poet.
That's all.

I know how you feel. We all get depressed but hey we can also write about our problems. Hang in there. I hope you're feeling a little better about your life. I loved the poem, i could really relate.
