Doom and gloom, all seemed lost
times when I felt like crying,
I couldn`t seem to raise a laugh
my soul was slowly dying.
I was drowning in my tearful sea
She threw me out her rope,
Took my emotions and wrung them out
ans showed me there was hope.
I needed someone to save me
my heart hung on my sleeve,
She picked me up and brushed me down
and taught me to believe.
She is always there to listen
she came to my rescue,
she healed my sad and broken heart
she changed my black clouds blue.
We haven`t met, but we talk for hours
she is gentle kind and funny,
and everytime I think of her
she makes my whole world sunny.

I loved reading this. I thought it flowed beautifully. I too have someone like that in my life............a lifeline. Take heart , as I have now physically met my knight, and dreams really do come true!
