New Breed

Contributed by Kane on Sunday, 3rd August 2003 @ 11:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Darkness falls, demons they call,
The man behind the mask is gone, good reddens so long,
It's my time to shine, all that love poetry had him blind,
Let's be real, stop talking about emotions that nobody feels,

Let's talk about death, and taking your last breathe,
Men Cry Too, his such a fool,
In touch with your soft side, what a bold face lie,
Blood and guts, forget the mushy stuff, let's be tough,

Hatred and pain, let us wallow in shame,
He had to leave, the inperation gone, that's to blame,
If he only let his darkside go, his words would still flow,
No one reads dark poetry, but it sets your nightmares free,

Mask man show your stuff, write something differant, entertain us,
Soul battered, anger is gathered,
A pistol in my hand, who is this man,
He calls himself Phantom, that sounds kindda dumb,

Is he scared to show his face, is it grim and outta of place,
Are you lost in time, I'm about to drop the dime,
Your a good poet, now write something and show it,
The lime light of YPDC is now for me, and you a forgotten fantasy.

Heart & Soul
Kane

dear kane dont be angry
we all write from our hearts
no one holds limelight, of
ypdc family we are all a part
each needing the others
we all come together
and this door is always open
in every kind of weather:)

Feeling anger about what someone else has written is kind of a lame thing. If you don't like what they wrote that is one thing and you can give comments to help improve it but you shouldn't be so angery at something that someone has written because it is their own thoughts and feelings. ~Day~

I agree about dark poetry setting your nightmares free. I was not aware Phantom left, but he seems like a great guy so why the spite. I don't think any one person shares the limelight at YPDC. I'm definitely going to read more of yer stuff in the future.

Sticks and Stones to break some bones? They say words will never hurt... that is a lie... how do you know phantom doesn't write from the heart... just because his words are but memories to guys like us, Kane... does not mean they aren't authentic. Even though phantom said I write stuff that would make satan sick... I still refuse to let cheapshots deter me from what I do... which is write poetry that would make satan sick.... to each his own!!! Although I must hand it to you, Kane... you have brilliantly inspired the masked one to pick back up the pen he forsake... if it was your intentions, which I think it was... then bravo... your evil plot worked!!! Bwaaahahahaaahaaaaaaaaa... and next... to take over the world....
