Thunder hits the surroundings,as the rain drowns the streets,
Darkness is all around me, and the fears are rushing in,
The car has pulled over, and we're sitting off the road,
My heart is filled with terror, as other cars rush by on the road,
My brother next to me, sits there unaware,
Of course at age three, he can only sit and stare,
My younger brother next to him, just looks out the car,
He smiles as the lightning strikes from afar,
My baby sister in her car seat, is clapping all the way,
Its like the thunderstorm really, really
makes her day,
Then in the front seat, my moms screams fill my heart,
The pain that shes feeling, is tearing me apart,
The man keeps hurting her, striking her heart,
He isnt feeling sorry for her, nor showing pity at all,
All this is happening, and its moving at a heart beat,
All of this and more, i can see from the backseat,
As my mommy bleeds, the blood covers her,
Does she really have his seed, with all the pain he gives her?
My mommy pull us out in rain, as she does closer and nearer comes the storm,
The man in the car pulls away, now we're walking under the painful storm,
Then my mom whispers, "Dear baby, my oldest of sons,"
"Please watch over your brothers if im ever gone,"
She falls on the floor, but she keeps us close,
She gives each of us a kiss, death makes her eyes close,
Now i have my brothers, and an eternity of tears,
You see, not only good things, can be seen in the backseats.
