On my way to say goodbye to you
For this would be my last
My chance to tell your meaning to me
before your time was past
My bags are packed for this dolesome trip
And I stepped outside the door
Just then the call came in
telling me you were no more
With tears racing down my face
with the ghastly cry, this can't be!
I just wanted to say goodbye
Please Mommy, wait for me.
Although the time has passed
my goodbye, one last time
I will take this moment today
for it is truly mine
here is my chance for goodbye
and to tell your meaning to me
Mother, Thank you for your love
for it is what made me truly me
If it wasn't for your loving guidance
I don't know where I would be
You are the inspiration in my life
my heart, you have the key
This is my goodbye Mother
even though we're apart
Thank you again for your love
You truly are the heart of hearts

This is wonderful, im sure your mother is proud of you for this. Its makes me take a moment to tell my mother how much I love her and how much I am thankful for all she has done for me.

The fact that you can say this much is enough
to make me think you have the ability to cope
which is about making the best with the given.
But that smile which you have to fight hard to maintain,
is starting to shine on your face right now, keep it!

| I am very sorry that you lost your Dad. I know that I felt and still feel like nobody "really" understands the pain I am going through. After reading your comment I realized that maybe there are people who are enduring and have endured the same pain I am going through. Just knowing that people are making it through this kind of pain is inspiring. It has given me something to look forward to, knowing I will not always hurt this bad. Maybe this is the beginning of my healing. Thank you so much. |
