Thundering clouds

Contributed by vincy on Thursday, 31st July 2003 @ 02:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: mystical

When the dark clouds move in
the Moon, the Sun, all in hiding
I have watched skies bleed
from arrows aimed at dreams
just after the lightning flash
the sky thorn apart,
them wicked clouds
hovering like giant draculas
lightning again, then the wind
moments before the thundering
then the waters fall from the sky
washing away the memories rotting...
yes, I want to forget some things I have seen
I want to cancel some dark places I have been
for the sake of my threatened sanity.
Those memories that mock me so deep
causing resentments I don't want or need
magnificent dreams sabotaged by plain envy
to wake up only to realise that you can't trust
whoever and whenever you want to trust
this makes me want to give it up, all expectations.
the art of taking should thrive in the giving,
the act of sharing blossoms in the serving
the fun of life in the here and now always playing,
so what's the matter why are we all denying
let us let all our dreams shine in the night sky.
Within that paradox we shall solve the equation
or the equation will solve us.

Dreams are what make us the person we are ... they save us from insanity ... I enjoy reading your deep thoughts... Jan
