Dehydration of the Soul

Grief

Water runs dry
Without a reason of why
No rain falls
Just thundering calls
The dark clouds roll in
The tumbling trials begin
Each moment of hope
Left to her own demise
Overshadowed in her disguise
Chance by chance
Alone in her dance
A rhythmic cylce of chaos
So disengaged; feelings of loss
Flashes of light flicker in her eyes
As a storm brews inside
