We’re Up To You

Contributed by Krazykaric on Thursday, 31st July 2003 @ 05:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Bad things happen,
For whatever reason.
No one knows why,
It’s all the same.

The sorrow,
The pain,
The stupid games,
He lied and so did I.

There isn’t one thing,
I can say,
That will make you,
Feel the same way.

It’s all over,
I’m lost,
Gone,
And alone.

No one is there,
To hold my hand,
My life is slowly,
Sinking into the sand.

I’m aching with pain,
I can no longer breathe,
I’m slowly dying-
I am suffering…

I bet when you find out,
You will throw a party and,
Thank God that he took me.
And for that, you should seek help.

It’s not fair,
You get to win,
While I’m gone,
Lost with the wind.

But that’s the way
Life goes,
I guess,
You lose eventually,

So no more whining,
No more tears,
I am standing up,
After all these years.

If you want me,
I will be here,
Waiting for a prince,
To rescue my fears.

I will no longer run for you,
No longer call,
Our future is in your hands,
I hope you won’t let it fall.

So here is my last words,
I hope you choose me,
But until then,
Forever let it be.
