THE ABUSED MANS' APPEAL!

Contributed by robert_edgar_burns on Thursday, 31st July 2003 @ 04:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Oh my precious darling,
May you ever fear me not!
May your past no longer haunt you,
To be replaced with what we’ve wrought.

May our most wonderful intimate moments,
Turn into hours of loving bliss.
Where every caress is gentle,
And as warm as every kiss.

Let us talk and laugh for hours.
While I hold your tender hand.
Then your head laid on my shoulder,
Tells me I AM your man!

May I hear each breath you’re breathing,
Reveling with each peaceful sigh.
And see in your eyes contentment
Because you’re happy with “This Guy!”

Oh my precious darling,
Fear not the things now past.
Walk with me into the future,
Where our happiness waits at last!

I'll consider it an honor to be the first one to comment on this beautiful poem =)
-----------------
Tell your love to dwell no more.
In the past she doesn't live anymore.
Take her hand and fly her away
To the future where you'll both stay.

I love your idea of an abused man.

I don't get the title personally, but I did like the poem and the sweet images it evoked. It was great and thoughtfully written.
