HIS LITTLE PLAY TOY

I'm looking at that big yellow moon up above.
What good is that moon without someone to love?
There used to someone many moons ago.
What happened to that someone, I really don't know.
He left me so suddenly, I can't tell you why.
For days all I did was sit around and cry.
He gave me such pleasure and made my heart sing.
He called me his Sweetie, his little plaything.
He must have gotten tired of his little play toy,
Although his little play toy was not a bit coy.
All the love I possessed I gave him each night.
I thought his little play toy was doing alright.
One night he just walked out the door,
And I never heard from my lover no more.

The first two lines are very beautiful, Del. =)
-----------------------------------
The moon up above is there to watch
Over people like you who fall in love
It's up there to heal you from the notch
Made by people who called you dove. |
