Awaiting ExeQtion

Contributed by PsychoticDreamz on Tuesday, 29th July 2003 @ 10:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Sittin in a cell
Waitin
Im contemplating
Will I see God in Heavan
Or am I seein Satan
Im debatin
Was it worth it?
Acting on my urges
Like I had the right
to take a life on countless murders
But it aint my fault Im wicked
Im just a sick kid
I needed help
Now Im waiting to die while time is tickin
Everytime the sun rise
I make a scratch on the wall
So as the days go by
I can keep track of them all
I know nobody's gonna miss me
cuz I never had a home
They got me locked in solitary
but I always was alone
Not a clone in a lab
raised by mad scientists
Its all a delusion
I should've told a psychiatrist
I try to sit and rationalize
close my eyes
see the faces of my victims just before they died
Why couldnt I stop?
Why was killin my addiction?
Why couldnt my mind see the lie of fact and fiction
Cuz every bloody body part the FBI discovered
Was a piece of someone's child, someone's friend, someone's mother
I guss its too late to give a f*** now
I gotta pay the consiquences somehow
So I sit in the cell
Sicker than hell
Hittin myself
If they dont kill me
I'll be killing myself
I feelin myself
fadin away as the day past
Im gettin paid back
In a chamber full of gas
But its my own fault
I shouldve never got caught
Now they locked me inside of this mysterious vault
So I gasp and choke
on the smoke
and I cant see
Now Im dead
that makes them
no better than me...

The meaning of this poem is so true
