Children

Topic: dedicatedpoems

You look into the eyes of a child,
You see things you haven't seen in a while,
Like flowers beginning to bloom.

Children let see things in a different light,
They let you remember the stars at night,
They help you forget your day of gloom.

Children are so full of life and love,
They are like a dove,
They are innocent and free.

They are forgiving and sweet,
They keep you constantly on your feet,
To show you all the things they see.

They let you remember the joys of life,
To forget your troubles and strife,
They are what makes they world go round.

They are the future, to them be kind,
Listen to them, they have great minds,
Their laughter is like no other sound.

The love of a child is more precious than gold,
With them around you will never grow old,
So hug a child and give them love.

A child is a wonderous thing,
Happiness and joy they do bring,
Only this kind of love comes from above.

Would you believe a guy like me
could love a child till I cry,
If they have a problem, see,
I will fix it, or sure will try.

the words you speak are true
to see a child ignored makes me blue
they have so much to give
and make life more blissful to live

There's no moment more peaceful
Than holding a baby in your arms
I fed my baby cousin once
And I'll always be blessed by her charms.

With what you say I sure agree
No one will ever love children as much as me.
