I can’t answer your questions my angel
I don’t know how or why
But I can pray for you my angel
That you’ll still be alive
I can’t help you now my angel
But I’ll do all I can do
To give you strength my angel
That will help you make it through
I can’t hold you now my angel
For you are far away
But I’ll treasure you my angel
And think of you night and day
I can’t see you now my angel
But I can still picture your face
Remember me my angel
When you’re in a better place
I can’t dream for you my angel
I don’t know what you’d see
But I can wish for you my angel
That you’ll come back to me
I can’t hear you now my angel
I don’t know what you want to say
But I can pretend I can my angel
To get me through each day
I can’t find you now my angel
I don’t know where you are
But I can look for you my angel
And I’ll look near and far
I can't feel you now my angel
But I hope you feel no pain
I hope you’re not crying my angel
I need to know if you’re ok
I can't dry your tears my angel
But I’ll try and make you smile
I’ll make you laugh my angel
If only for a while
I can't breath for you my angel
But I’ll give you all my love
I hope you’re happy my angel
And you’ll look down on me from above
I can't hate for you my angel
For those who caused this mess
But I can hope for you my angel
That they will feel no happiness
I can't heal you now my angel
For this is in Gods hands
But I can hope for you my angel
That he’ll do all he can
I can't live for you my angel
But I hope your angel wings have grown
I hope you learn how to fly my angel
And that you will come home
I can't replace you my angel
There will be no other like you
I won’t ever forget you my angel
Even though I said good bye to you
I can't believe my angel
That you died because of hate
But I’ll see you again my angel
I’ll look forward to the day

| this poem reminds me of my friend chris, who was knifed and killed because he confrounted the person that raped me. i will never forget him... that was 7 years ago... anyway thanx for sharing such a touching poem ~Apryl |
